Pyramid Comer North-ADLS Amendment
The applicant seeks to modify the previously approved sign package plan. The site is
located at the northeast comer of Michigan Road and West 96th Street. The site is zoned
B-2/Business within the US 421 Overlay Zone.
Filed by Nancy Long of A-1 Expeditors, Inc. for A & A Development.
The applicant is requesting ADLS Amendment approval of a wall sign. Please see informational
packet distributed with the agenda for this meeting.
The request will address the one sign for the restaurant tenant as well as all future sign requests.
Currently the approved sign package for the center allows cabinet style signs only. This proposal
will change that to individual letters, with exterior illumination of either a red, green, blue, black,
yellow or white color.
The Department would only ask that a limitation be set for the maximum number of colors per
sign excluding a logo so we do not end up with every other letter being a different color. The "El
Porton" sign with logo as represented is acceptable.
The Department recommends that the Special Studies Commlttee approve the request after
aH comments and concerns have been addressed.
Note: The item only requires approval by the Special Studies Committee.
