Also a waiver is requested from the Subdivision Control Ordinance. Docket No. 11030009 SW: SCO Chapter 6.05.01.: lot width at road right of way The site is located at 610 First Ave. NW and is zoned R- 2/Residence within the Old Town Overlay Character Subarea. The site is located at 10325 N. Michigan Road and is zoned B-3/Business within the US 421 Overlay Zone. Filed by Tracy Gamez of Design Team Sign Company. Docket No. 11050001 ADLS Amend: Shoppes at Weston Pointe Awnings The applicant seeks approval for new awnings on the existing buildings. The site is located at 11145 N. Michigan Road and is zoned B -2 /Business within the US 421 Overlay Zone. Filed by Richard Gould of Midwest Realty Services on behalf of the land owner. Present for the Petitioner: Richard Gould Overview: Two end tenant spaces on Center need help blocking afternoon and evening sun Awnings will be added just for shade o No signage and no outside entry to area awnings will be placed at Landscaping area between the parking space and sidewalk for pedestrians so support posts will not be directly located next to a parked vehicle Dept Report, Rachel Boone: Allowing on two end units will help balance appearance of Center Awning color is maroon NO signage, table, chairs, etc. Suggested to add landscaping around awning support posts for safety concern Department recommends positive consideration Motion: John Adams "To approve Docket No. 11050001 ADLS Amend: Shoppes at Weston Pointe Awnings as presented to the Committee" seconded by Judy Hagan, approved 5 -0. 6. The site is located at 9727 N. Bauer Drive and is zoned B -3 /Business, NOT within any Overlay Zones. Filed by Larry Heid of Tom Wood Management.
