.T. he .applicant requests a varia, pce from the pr.oyisions of Se..ction 27..03.2. of the Zoning Ordinance to continue to
use an existinq parking lot, without curbing, or curbed traffic islands, in connection with a new clubhouse similarly
sized and in substantially the same location as the existinq clubhouse. The parking lot was constructed in
accordance with standards applicable at the time, .which did not require curbing or .parking islands. Existinq
surface drainaq..e is adequate. The applicant would like to leave the parking lot in its existinq state, without curbing,
to avoid substantial unnecessary expense and the creation of potential drainaqe issues.

The applicant has utilized the existinq parking lot for many years., since the club was opened. It has operat¢~ well
without curbing or traffic islands. Installing curbin_a now, including islands, would require.that the entire existinq

hearing date. The certified "Proof of Publication" affidavit for the newspaper must be available for inspection the night of
the hearing.

1) CERTIFIED MAIL- RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED sent to adjoining property owners. (The white receipt
should be stamped by the Post Office at least, twenty-five (25) days prior to the public hearing date.)
2) HAND DELIVERED to adjoining and abutting property Owners (A receiPt signed by the adjoining and abutting
property owner acknowledging the twentY-five (25) day notice should be kept for verification that the notice was

The approval of this variance will not be injurious to the public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the
community because:

The use and value of the area adjacent to the property included in the variance will not be affected in a
substantially adverse manner because:
The petitioner PrOposes to construct a new clubhouse, similarly sized and in substantially the same location as the
existinq clubhouse, which will not adversely affect either the use or value of property in the area adjacent to the

The strict application of the terms of the Zoning Ordinance to the property will result in practical difficulties in the
