8. Please resolve any outstanding issues with the city engineering department.
9. Please submit a revised Secondary Plat after making above mentioned changes. Once these changes have been made and
comments addressed, please produce a Mylar copy for signature by this Department; the property owner.and surveyor must
sign the plat prior to the Director signing it. Two paper copies of the plat must be filed with the Mylar prior to recording, and
two paper copies and a Mylar of the recorded plat must be submitted following recording. Our approval of the secondary plat
(signature) will be forthcoming upon revision of the plans according to the items listed above.
10. Also, the staff has been advised that we cannot present a Secondary Plat to the Director for signature from this point forward
until Ms. Terry Krueskamp (trueskamp @carmel.in.gov) in Information Systems has received an e-mail with an electronic file
attached (MicroStation .dgn is preferred, or AutoCad .dwg of the subdivision) and it .(the.e -mail) has been copied to myself
(awold @carmel.in.gov). Also, the Dept would also like a .pdf file of the plat, as we move toward a paperless office. If you

Subdivider Agreement
AGREEMENT
The developer shall be responsible for any drainage problems, including standing water,
flooding and erosion control, which arise or become evident at any time during the 3
year maintenance period after the release of the subdivision bond, and which is
attributable to a deficiency in subdivision drainage design or construction of drainage
improvements. This shall include all pipes, structures, swales, ditches and ponds which
are pertinent features to the proper drainage of the subdivision.
This responsibility of the developer shall not, however, include problems which are
created subsequent to the completion of the.subdivision improvements by the improper
grading by individual builders or structures and improper grading installed or
accomplished by individual homeowners.
It is the intent of this agreement that the developer shall specifically provide such sub-
surface drains, or storm sewers or ditches, as are required to properly rectify any
drainage problem or sub surface water problem which was contemplated in the original
approved subdivision design, including, but not restricted to, disposal of sub surface
water fromm i� drains of individual lots.
