The Alliance for Community Trees (ACT) is the national association for organizations dedicated to urban and
community tree planting, conservation, and education. ACT's members include the most innovative urban
forestry organizations in the country. Full membership is open only to 501 c3 nonprofit organizations, while
Associate Membership is open to any organization with urban and community forestry community
responsibilities, including municipal agencies. All levels of membership are provided with electronic policy
and research updates, grant information, and program models that strengthen local urban forestry efforts.

strategic priorities that ACT members must achieve annually. They are:
Maintain membership in ACT.
Host one or more NeighborWoods Month events.
Regularly report organization's accomplishment data.
Attend one of ACT's free monthly webcasts.
Post the ACT affiliate logo on one's website.
