Eastern Standard Time Subj: Update Requested - Completion of High Grove Walking Trail Issue Kevin, I am following up on your last message to me on 11/1/2007, indicated that you would take action with the developer (Estridge) to install the remaining walking trail and bridge that was approved for our neighborhood (High Grove). You noted that you would copy me on the electronic version for our records. To my knowledge, I have never received a copy of the electronic notice to Estridge. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate any information that you can share based on your correspondence with Estridge. I realize that at this time of year, little activity can be accomplished on the trail and bridge, but I stand hopeful that Estridge will respond to you with implementation timing and real actions in the spring. I also understand that the work on the pipe line, has interfered with finishing the trail part of the High Grove property. Estridge promised that they would install the bridge over a year ago, and would finish the trail upon completion of the pipe line activity. This marks, yet another year that Estridge has not completed a part of the subdivision that has been on record since phase one of the neighborhood plot. I will copy the newly formed High Grove Association Board on this correspondence. I look forward to hearing back from you in the near future, with hopefully a positive update. The Plan Commission approved the subdivision and part of the approval showed the locations of the numerous sidewalks throughout this community. Please contact this office with the schedule and timeline for the sidewalk completion by March 31, 2008. Failure to comply will result in further enforcement action. Sensitivity: Personal Lady Sr Gentlemen, In a follow up with Chad, from Estridge, I learned the following concerning the High Grove walking trail: Delay in starting is due to getting approval from the pipeline company to enter onto the easement, as well as getting an acceptable bid from their outside contractors on the bridge construction. Apparently, the first round of bids came back with numbers ($$$) that were not acceptable to Estridge. With those two issues resolved, Chad indicated that construction of the bridge will begin in 2 weeks: and that the contact had been awarded. In addition, the contract for the paving has been awarded, and that company will begin in 6 weeks. The 6 weeks if based on the queue of activity for the paving company. Therefore, a plan appears to be in place. As over the last several years, we will monitor progress and take the appropriate actions.
