H. Public Hearing:
Ih. Carmel Science & Technology Park, Block 2, Lots 2 & 3 (70-99 DP/ADLS)
Petitioner seeks approval to construct 14 professional office buildings on 7.393___ acres known
as Park Place Centre.
The Department recommends combining the discussion on thi~ item with Item 2j. The
Department recorrmaends that this item be forwarded to the Special Studies Committee for review.
2h. Park Northwestern, Lot 15 (72-99 DP/ADLS)
Petitioner seeks approval to construct a retail oil lube service station on 1.439± acres known as
Valvoline Oil Lube.
The Department recommends that this item be forwarded to the Special Study Commttee for
U.S. 421 Overlay review.
3h. Browning Office Development (76-99 CA)
Petitioner requests that the 1991 Commitments Concerning the Use and Development of Real
Estate for this site be terminated.
The Del~artment recommends approval. If the Plan Commission w/shes to vote on this item

Petitioner seeks amendments to the Cannel/Clay Comprehensive Plan, specifically Chapter 6:
Thoroughfare Plan.
The Department recommends that this item be tabled to the October 19~' Plan Commission
meeting since the revisions made Seotember 7t~ bv the Special Study Committee are not vet ~renared
for flae Commission's review.
P~itioner seeks approval to rezone 55 acres of ground at the northwest comer of 96~ Street
and U.S. 31 fi.om B-5/businerss and S-2/residence to B-6fousiness. Petitioner also seeks approval to
rezone 10 acres of ground at the northeast comer of96~ Street and U.S. 3 ltl.om B-5fousiness to B-
8lousiness.
The public hearing on this item is still open, however this item has been tabled to the
October 19'~ meeting at the petitioner's request.
3i. Max & Erma's Restaurant (57-99 DP/ADLS)
Petitioner seeks approval to construct a 7,744-square-foot restaurant facility on 1.6-~-_ acres
known as Max & Erma's. The petitioner is also seeking approval of three Developmental Standards
Variances fi.om the Board of Zoning Appeals.
This item was given a favorable recommendation bv the Soecial Studv Committee conditioned
upon the BZA s approval ora variance at their October 5 meeting.

lj. Panera Bread Patio (69-99 ADLS)
Petitioner seeks approval to construct an unenclosed patio on the north side of Merchants'
Square, Building I.
The Department recommends approval.
2j. Carmel Science & Technolog~ Park, Block 2, Lots 2 & 3 (71-99 SP)
Petitioner seeks approval to plat two lots on 7.393+_ acres in order to construct 14 professional
off,ce buildings to be known as Park Place Centre.
The Department recommends that this item be forwarded to the St~ecial Studies Committee in
coniunction with Docket No. 70-99 DP/ADLS for review.

Petitioner seeks approval to amend the ADLS approval for the 12400 North Old Meridian
project in order to construct a one-story, multi-tenant, professional office building on 2.43+ acres.
The Special Study Committee has forwarded this to the full Plan Commission for
consideration.
