Sent: Wednesday, September 22, 2004 4:43 PM Subject: Board of Zoning Appeals Meeting September 27 Docket 04080022 Cecil 1 Stonebraker Jon, I understand Angie is on her honeymoon, congratulations to her. On the same day I receiVed the e-mail, with the Department Report for the Hearing Officer, stating my request to en-croach 4 feet into the platted 50 ft setback making a distance of 46 ft to the back of the lot, I received the final plans from the Architect for the construction of the sunroom. Those plans show we will en-croach 5.33 ft into the 50 ft building setback. I advised all neighbors and the Brookshire Board President and Architectural Committee at the time I obtained their signatures it would be approximately 4 ft, and that it could be a couple of feet more. No one had any objections, all are surprised we haven't build a sunroom before this, as they all have one. I also published in the Indianapolis Newspaper we would en-croach approximately 4 ft. Would you please have Connie change all variance references from 4 ft to 5.33 ft and all setback distances from 46 ft to 44.67 ft. It is important this remain on the agenda for the 27th and be approved, as I have a medical problem, my kidneys are shutting down and I need to oversee the construction and completion of this room before I go on dialysis. The construction is scheduled to start on October 1,2004, after receiving a building permit. Lastly, if you are concerned about the neighbors, I can get another signature of approval from then approving the 5.33 ft en-croachment. I'm very sorry for making more work for you and the department, everyone has been most helpful to me, as a I'm a novice at this. Thank you very much for your help.
