NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hearing Officer of the Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of
Carmel/Clay Township, Indiana, meeting on the 30~' day of November, 2004, at 6:45 o'clock p.m., in the
Caucus Rooms, Second Floor, City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032, will hold a Public Hearing
regarding a Developmental Standards Variance Application identified as Docket No. 04110025V (the "Location
Variance"), and a Development Standards Variance Application identified as Docket No. 04110027V (the "Size
Variance") pertaining to the real estate (the "Real Estate") described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. The Real
Estate is approximately 9.11 acres in size, contains the Meridian Tower office building ("Meridian Tower"), and
is generally located at 201 103rd Street West, Indianapolis, Indiana 46290, in Hamilton County, Indiana.
The Applicam seeks to erect one (1) wall identification sign ("Sign") on the south facia of Meridian
Tower. The Location Variance, which will be heard by the Hearing Officer of the Board of Zoning Appeals on
November 30, 2004, at 6:45 p.m., would permit the Sign which is otherwise permitted on the north facia of
Meridian Tower to be located on the south facia of Meridian Tower, pursuant to the plans on file with the
Department of Community Services. The Size Variance, which will also be heard by the Hearing Officer of the
Board of Zoning Appeals on November 30, 2004 at 6:45 p.m., would permit the Sign to exceed the size
permitted under the Ordinance, pursuant to the plans on file with the Department of Community Services.
Copies of the Location Variance and Size Variance are on file for examination at the Department of
Community Services, One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032, telephone 317/571-2417.
All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above Location Variance and Size Variance,
either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned time and place.
Written objections to the Location Variance and Size Variance .that are filed with the Department of
Community Services prior to the Public Hearing will be considered and oral comments concerning the Location
Variance and Size Variance will be heard at the Public Hearing.
The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
