If you wanted attache a wood frame to your shed, I would make it the full width of the shed. The plant supports could be wooden (horizonal or diagonal direction) slats or laticework. There are sveral vines I would suggest that would be good species: Wisteria sinensis Vistis cognetiae Schraphragma hydrangoides Lonicera sempervirens Carnpsis radicans Chinese Wisteria Gloryvine Grape Japanese Hydrangae Vine Trumpet Honeysuckle Common Trumpet Creeper I would take your plant supplier's recomendation on the number of plants to install that would provide a thick growing trellace, I would say at least 6 for the 12' width of the shed.
