The planning dept. has reviewed the proposal for the 2 car chargers at Kohl's, and we have no problem with you issuing
a permit for them. Also, there will be no loss of landscaping, and they will also paint the conduit that goes up the wall of
the building to match the existing building color.

Angie,
have been contracted by DUKE Energy in regards to installing two separate car charging units at the KOHL's on
Michigan Road in Carmel. I would like to forward you some information as 1 would like to discuss the installation before
pulling a permit and beginning. l assume that DUKE has discussed this with you but 1 am not sure of that. Please see the
following information. This email has pictures attached that show the island in the parking lot where both units will be
mounted, the feeds will be brought out from the building via underground direct bore poly conduit path from the island
to the Jandscaping area close to the building. The poly will transition into rigid conduit up the wall, penetrating the
exterior and then running to the existing electrical panel within the store above the dropped ceiling overhead. Please
note the electrical closet is close to the double doors on the corner of the building.
