CARMEL, INDIANA
NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF
AN AMENDMENT TO THE CARMEL/CLAY
ZONING MAP
Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the City of Carmel and Clay Township, Hamilton County,
Indiana, that the proper legal officers of the City of Carmel met at their regular meeting place, Council Chambers,
Carmel City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032, at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, the 16th day of August, 2004, and
adopted the following:
Ordinance No. Z-451-04, rezoning Tax Parcel I.D. No. 17-13-02-04-08-016.000, (commonly known as
the Yang Health Center Property), generally located north of the intersection of 106th Street and College
Ave from the R-3/Residence District Classification to the B-l/Business District Classification within the
Home Place Business District.
Ordinance No. Z-451-04 affects only the aforementioned Tax Parcel.
Ordinance No. Z-451-04 does not amend any provision of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance regarding
penalties or forfeiture prescribed for a violation of the ordinance.

Division of Planning & Zoning, Third Floor, Carmel City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana; and in the
Office of the Clerk-Treasurer, Third Floor, Carmel City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana.

CERTIFICATION OF THE CARMEL/CLAY
PLAN COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATION
ON THE PETITION OF THE CITY OF CARMEL
TO REZONE A PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
NORTHWEST OF 106TH STREET AND COLLEGE AVE
PURSUANT TO INDIANA CODE 36-7-4-605

Dear Members:
The Carmel/Clay Plan Commission offers you the following report on the application (Docket No. 04030043
Z) of The City of Carmel - Department of Community Services petitioning the Commission for a favorable
recommendation to rezone a property located northeast of the intersection of 106th Street and College Avenue
from the R-3-Residence Zoning Classification to the B-1-Business Zoning Classification.
The Carmel/Clay Plan Commission's recommendation on the petition of the applicant is "FAVORABLE."
At its regularly scheduled meeting on June 22, 2004, the Carmel/Clay Plan Commission voted eight (8) in
Favor, zero (0) Opposed, zero (0) Abstaining, to forward to the Common Council the proposed Ordinance
No. Z-451-04 with a Favorable Recommendation.
Please be advised that by virtue of the Plan Commission's Favorable Recommendation, pursuant to IC 36-7-
4-608(f)(4), the Council has ninety (90) days to act on this petition before it becomes effective as Certified
by the Commission. Ninety days from the date of this Certification (June 22, 2004) is Thursday, September
30, 2004.
