Approval is sought before any new tenants move into property and ap- ply for sign permits. Application is for signage only. Existing design, landscaping and lighting remain un- changed at this time. Location: Property containing approximately 5 acres is located on the south-east quadrant of the intersec- tion of 3rd Avenue SW and Gradle Drive. Prope~ty contains two identically mirrored buildings running parallel north and south with frontages on 3rd Ave- nue SW, Gradte Drive and the Monon Trail. Signage : Kirby Park North has existing lighted sign boxes integrated into the architectural design of the building's facade. The 20 existing sign boxes are approximately 18' long and 18" high with fluores- cent lighting inside: Currently there are routed sign faces on 3 of the 20 sign boxes. The minimum set back from the right of way to the sign face is ap- proximately 103'. Proposal: Applicant seeks approval for up to 20 ex- isting sign boxes (approximately 18' long by 18" high) to be used for tenant's signage. It will be the individual tenant's responsibility to obtain sign per- mits for their own sign's face. All signs to be able to use all of the approximately 27 sq. ft. of surface available on the front of the sign box for lettering. All signs are to be of the same kind and type that match the existing signs. All signs to be of a routed aluminum face painted to match the existing build- ing color and to have translucent white plastic panels to form the back-lit letter facing. Existing signs have a number of fonts, but future signs would use a basic sans serif font that matches the majority of the other fonts.
