. For zones B~4, B-7, B-8, U.S. 31 Meridian Street Corridor, U,S. 431 Keystone Avenue
Corridor and the U,S.421 Michigan Road Corridor

Allow plenty of time for review and approval process (approximately .two (2)
month~).

Discuss proposed project with DOCS st~ff(pleas~ call for an appointment to discuss
review procedure and appropriate dates) first week of the month, works the best to
begin a project.

INFORMATION NEEDED for formal DOCS staff and Plan Commission review:
a. Two copies of forlnal application with required information
b. Two copies of legal description
c. Two location maps showing location of subject site~ zoning nad existing land
u~es of all adjacent properties.
d. Two copies o£ a detailed site development plan showing:
1. Detailed drainage plan with drainage calculations. If project is in Clay
Township, take to Kent Ward, County Surveyor (776-9626) and John South,
U.S. Soil Conservation Service (773-1406). If project is in City o~' Camael,
discuss w/th Kate Boyle, Ci~ Engineer at 571-2441,,

Noblesville, Indiana)
Once all information is presented to DOCS and a review completed for compliance, a
docket number will be released when the filing fee is submitted.

If a public heating is required, mail notices of developmen, plan hearing to
adjacent property owners and put public notice in newspaper (Noblesville
Ledger), at least tw~ty-five (25) days prior to the heating date.
At least five (5) working days prior to the heating the petitioner must submit
proofofpublieations (2), proot~0f adjacent pr~erty owner notification (both the
white and green cards), and a completed Petitioher°s Affidav/t of Notice of Public
Hearing to the DOCS.

Petitioner or representative must appear at the Carmel/Clay Plan Comm/ssion (public,
hearing) and giw a presentation. Thc presentation shouId include information relative
to the project and should b~ presented on a postc~ board so that it can bo aeen from 20
feet. In addition, reduced packets (8-1/2" x 11") packets of the poster board project
information should be handed out for each Plan Commission member.
Petitioner or repro~entativo mu~t attend th~ Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)
meeting on Wednesday following the Plan Commission Meeting.
Petitioner or representative must attend tho Industrial and Commercial Subcommittee
to review all portinent information.
Petitionerr or repr~entative must attend the second Plan Commission meeting for final
vote (questions may need to be amwercd).
Once Plan Commission has voted on the project, it is up m 'the petitioner to work
with the staff to obtain proper building permJt~.
