Attached is an enlarged section of the site plan showing the construction of an eight foot multi -use path which will be a continuation and extension of the existing path to the west of the entrance off of 116 Street. Additionally, this shows the pedestrian paths proposed for pedestrian access to the retail center. As noted in the Department Report, the Engineering Department states that the site plan is consistent with all City standards and supports the locations fo the curb cuts /access points. Comments were also expressed concerning the traffic design and circulation for vehicular traffic utilizing the drive -thru feature of the proposed restaurant to be located in the Range Line Road Multi- Tenant Retail Building. Attached is an enhanced site plan showing the vehicular stacking which is consistent with the stacking requirements found in the Michigan Road Overlay Zone. When I made our presentation to the Plan Commission of the proposed building elevations, I stated that our architect and Kite Realty Group were working with the staff of the Department of Community Services to address the design concerns for the Corner Retail Building to be constructed at the intersection of 116 Street and Range Line Road. Attached is a new perspective drawing of the proposed building with a view from the intersection looking northwest. Additional building elevations will be distributed to the Committee and other Plan Commission members as they are refined in conjunction with the staff. Finally, staff suggested that the color of the trim design of the new bank be changed to give more depth and dimension. New building elevations incorporating that change are attached. Paul G.
