The applicant seeks approval build a restaurant building. The site is located at the
southwest corner of Greyhound Pass and E. 146th Street. The site is zoned PUD.
Filed by Paul Reis of Drewry Simmons Pitts & Vornchm for Kite Greyhound, LLC.
The Special Studies committee forwards the ADLS to the full Plan Commission with a 5-0
favorable recommendation as amended. The applicant should distribute final elevations to all
Commission members at the meeting and review the modifications supported at Committee.
The Department recommends that the Plan Commission approve the Development Plan and
ADLS package subject to approval of the necessary height reduction variance by the Board of
Zoning Appeals.
Additional Note: Written findings are required for action on the Development Plan. The applicant
shall present these to the Commission at the meeting prior to approval.
Background:
The applicant is requesting approval of an ADLS for the construction of a restaurant. Pursuant to
the PUD zoning the Plan Commission conducts the review of the Architecture, Landscaping,
Lighting, and signage for the proposed uses within the center and the Department administratively
reviews the Development Plan. The Development Plan has been to TAC and there are no
outstanding issues to be resolved.
