REMARKS
This submittal will be heard at the next Carmel B.Z.A. meeting on May 29, 2012.
The following items have been revised and directly correlate with the comments received on May 18, 2012:
10. Please submit a landscape plan /tree preservation plan. Daren Mindham, City Forester, will review this plan
and provide review comments. (317- 571 -2417) The landscaping has been revised and resubmitted for
review and approval.
11. Please provide the signage location and design details, including size, height, and colors. The signage
location and details have been revised.
12. Road right of way (if any) will need to be dedicated to the City, per the Thoroughfare Plan. Please work with
Gary Duncan in the Engineering Dept. on how much R/W is required. (317- 271 2441.) Per Engineering there
is no need to dedicate any right -of -way for this project. Per Nick Redding a letter from Engineering is
forthcoming.
13. Prepare an estimated construction cost to comply with the Thoroughfare Plan Alternative Transportation
Plan; contact the Engineering Dept. for more details. 317 571 -2441. Per Engineering there is no construction
cost for any work in the right -of -way for this project.
14. Please work with David Littlejohn, Alternative Transportation Systems Coordinator, on any sidewalk or side
path requirements (if any); 317 571 -2417. Per Mr. Littlejohn there is no need for any additional
requirements for the sidewalks which are only a few years old.
15. Please show bike parking location and bike rack details, per section 27.06 of the ordinance. See the new bike
rack location next to the garage.
16. Please provide the lot cover percentage. Please include the pavement and building footprints in this
calculation. See the site data revision on sheet Cl.
17. Please provide details on the fence design. See the new fence detail on sheet Cl.
