ITEMS MAY BE CUT BACK AS NEEDED. COORDINATE WITH THE MEP CONSULTANT. EXISTING HORN STROBES, FIRE PULLS AND EXIT SIGNS ARE TO BE REMOVED. COVER PLATES ARE TO BE PLACED OVER ELECTRICAL BOXES. REMOVE EXISTING STOREFRONT DOOR AND RELATED JAMB STOPS AND HARDWARE. PREP OPENING TO BE REPLACED WITH CURTAIN WALL GLASS PANEL AND GRANITE BASE. PANEL AND BASE ARE TO MATCH ADJACENT CURTAIN WALL. REFERENCE ARCHITECTURAL ELEVATIONS AND DETAILS ON A2.1 AND A2.2. EXISTING SERVICE CORRIDOR WALL IS TO BE REMOVED, INCLUDING ELECTRICAL OUTLETS AND OTHER ITEMS IN THE WALL. SEE CONSTRUCTION PLAN FOR NEW DEMISING WALL LOCATIONS. REMOVE METAL DOORS AND FRAMES TO THE SERVICE CORRIDOR AND SAVE FOR REUSE. PREP WALL TO BE INFILLED TO MATCH THE ADJACENT WALL ASSEMBLY. DEMOLITION PLAN NOTES: DP1 DP2 DP3 DP4 DP5 DP6 GENERAL DEMOLITION NOTES: REMOVE ALL WALLS, MILLWORK, DOORS AND DOOR FRAMES AS SHOWN DASHED. RESERVE DOORS AND DOOR FRAMES FOR RE-USE IN NEW PROJECT SCOPE. 1. EXISTING HOSE BIB IS TO BE RELOCATED TO THE EAST SIDE OF THE EXTERIOR WALL JUST NORTH OF THE EXISTING METAL EXTERIOR DOOR. HOSE BIB IS NOT TO INTERFERE WITH EXTERIOR SIDE STAND. EXISTING CHASE IS TO BE REMOVED. REMOVE EXISTING CURTAIN WALL, GRANITE BASE AND FIRST COURSE OF CMU BELOW CURTAIN WALL AT WIDTH OF NEW DOOR AND LOCATIONS INDICATED BY OTHER DETAILS. PREP OPENING FOR NEW STOREFRONT DOOR. REMOVE EXISTING CURTAIN WALL, STOREFRONT DOOR, GRANITE BASE AND FIRST COURSE OF CMU BELOW CURTAIN WALL AT WIDTH OF NEW DOOR AND LOCATIONS INDICATED BY OTHER DETAILS. PREP FOR NEW DOUBLE DOOR AND VESTIBULE ASSEMBLY. DP7 DP8 DP9 EXIT SIGN IS TO BE REMOVED. SAVE FOR REUSE. DP10 HARDWARE IS TO BE REMOVED FROM EXISTING DOOR. HARDWARE IS TO BE TURNED OVER TO THE BUILDING OWNER. DP11 SAVE ALL ITEMS REMOVED FROM THE SPACE PER OWNERS DIRECTION UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 2. REMOVE ELECTRICAL AND DEVICE LINES LINES IN WALLS THAT ARE TO BE REMOVED, INCLUDING ALL ATTACHED WIRING. DEMOLISH ELECTRICAL DEVICES AND WIRING BACK TO THE PANEL. 3. ALL DEMOLISHED RECEPTACLES FROM EXISTING WALLS TO REMAIN SHALL HAVE DRYWALL PATCHED AND REPAIRED PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF WALL FINISH. 4. REMOVE SECTION OF WALL. PREP FOR NEW DOOR AND FRAME. DP12 NOT USED. DP13 REMOVE PORTIONS OF MUD SLAB UNDER PAVERS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF VESTIBULE FOUNDATIONS. REFERENCE SHEET A0.1. DP14 CAREFULLY REMOVE AND STORE EXISTING PAVERS AS DIRECTED BY THE LANDLORD AS REQUIRED FOR THE NEW VESTIBULE. SOME MATERIAL MAYBE RE-USED FOR REPAIR AND REWORK OF PAVERS AGAINST THE NEW VESTIBULE AND INSTALLATION OF CAFE RAILINGS. DP15 CAREFULLY REMOVE LAY-IN CEILING TILE AS DIRECTED BY THE LANDLORD AS REQUIRED FOR THE NEW VESTIBULE. SAVE FOR REUSE.
