Hi Jim,
Below was my first email with comments regarding the September 9 sign package for both the Palladium and the
Booth Tarkington and Studio theatres. My email today basically outlines all the signage 1 have seen so far for the whole
Center for the Performing Arts Complex. I've calculated what is allowed per the Sign Ordinance and how much signage is
proposed. There are some questions for you mixed within the numbers. I know the Mayor had not wanted any signage
to need variances. But there are some signs that are too tall, too big, or not allowed at all by the Sign Ordinance.
However, I have not been informed on how or if we will change the signs to make them meet the Sign Ordinance
requireme -lts. So...happy reading! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Here is a complete list of all the signs allowed by the Sign Ordinance for this site:
Complex ID sign: 2 at 75 sq. ft. and 6' tall because of two frontages
Directory signs: 4 at 20 sq. ft. and 5' tall because of two parking entrances
Wall signs for tenants on Parcel 7C: (frontage is west, but front of building is north)
Booth Tarkington: 1 sign at 75 sq. ft.
Studio Theatre: 1 sign at 75 sq. ft.
Office tenant (SEP 1 sign at 45 sq. ft.
Wall signs for Palladium:
North: 75 sq. ft. allowed
West: 95 sq. ft. allowed

1. Civic requested two additional banner signs on the north facade of the Office DOCS
