I'll drop off 8 copies of the packets and the check for $361.10 before noon tomorrow at your office. I've learned the signage approvals I'd assumed needed to be a part of this application are being handled separately, except for some window signage I'll include with in the packets tomorrow. Thanks! Since this isn't a new ADLS, just submit the information that is pertinent to this petition, i.e.: location map, signage plan and details, building elevations, etc. You can take at look at Chapter 24: Development Plan and Architectural Design, Exterior Lighting, Landscaping, Signage Regulations of our Zoning Ordinance for more information, as well. http: /carmel.in.aov/ Modules /ShowDocument.aspx documentid =325 Also, please email Angie Conn and me with the application as Angie is the one that usually handles new petitions for Plan Commission. Her email is aconn @carmel.in.aov Thanks and let me know if you have any questions. Alexia From: Jon Byrum jmailto :jbyrum@byrumarchitects.netl Sent: Friday, September 16, 2011 9:56 AM To: Donahue -Wold, Alexia K Subject: Marsh 21 exterior paint colors Alexia, A few weeks ago we spoke on the phone about Marsh's store #21, located at 10679 North Michigan Road, and how Marsh wants to freshen -up the exterior of the store by repainting the front portions. You'd asked me when we spoke to email you some info and colors so you could possibly gain approvals for us without us having to go through the full plan commission approval process. Marsh will have the interior remodel portion of the project complete around the end of October and would like to also be complete with any exterior work by that same time, so timely approvals of exterior colors is important to us. We're proposing colors that are only slightly different from the original colors. Painting will be limited to the front (south face) and front corners of the store. We are not changing the rust red or beige wainscot found on precast concrete panel sides and rear of the building. Please see the attached paint colors and description. Note the color change of the light fixtures will make them look more like bronze anodized fixtures which are commonly used on buildings along the Michigan Road corridor. Marsh also wants to add window signage film that says "the Marketplace" to the inside lower half of the eastern and western -most windows located along the front middle part of the store. Examples of what that looks like are also attached as seen at another Marsh store. Part of the reason for doing this is cover up the backside of some taller equipment that could be seen from the exterior once the remodel is complete. Please let me know if this is OK or not, or if you need more info on this. I'II wait to hear back from you. Thanks! 2 Jon Jon Byrum, RA, LEED Principal Byrum Architects 8910 Purdue Road, Suite 680 Indianapolis, Indiana 46268 317.471.1200 FAX.317.471.1224 3
