Re: May 18, 2004 Plan Commission Meetings - Agenda Item
Please find attached the handout distributed at a meeting that occurred on May 6, 2004, before
the committee meetings. It briefly touches on the proposed Park Impact Fee ordinance
amendment and the Zone Improvement Plan Amendment for the Comprehensive Plan. More
detailed information will be distributed next week with the Department Report. The following
docket numbers were assigned to these two items:

has risen dramatically since 1996
We have gone from $84 per unit to the
present $1,665 per unit
This reflects the City's acquisition of over
500 acres of parkland
Level of Service: Trends
Community Level of Service in 1996 and
2000 was determined to be the same as
the Current Level of Service- BUT
Community Level of Service for 2004 will
include $55 million in improvements to
Central Park, to be constructed over the
next 5 years
