This site is zoned B-8 requiting ADLS Amendment approval for new signage. The Department has the following concerns with the proposed sign: o The Department requests that the sign be centered on the two columns below the proposed sign area with the text "Charter One" on one line and the text "Bank" below maintaining the same size letters as presented. This will allow the sign to be centered in a more appropriate manner on the columns. The Department recommends that the Special Studies Committee approve the request after all comments and concerns have been addressed. The applicant is requesting ADLS Amendment approval of a wall sign. Please see informational packet enclosed with this report. This site is zoned B-2 and within the Michigan Road Overlay Zone requiting ADLS Amendment approval for new signage. The Department has the following concerns with the proposed sign: o The Department requests the text "Charter One" on one line and the text "Bank" below maintaining the same size letters as presented. This would provide better proportions. The Department recommends that the Special Studies Committee approve the request after all comments and concerns have been addressed.
