The applicant is proposing to rezone 2.567 acres within the Old Meridian Zone from the Single Family Attached (OM/SF A) designation to the Multi-Family (OM!MF) designation and expand the previously approved plan onto that area as well as incorporating the land at the corner of Pennsylvania and Main Street. The rezone is addressed under tabs 1-5 in the booklet and the ADLS within tabs 6-10. The rezon(:isnecessary to consolidate an appropriate area within the parent tract into a single zone to alIQwt:h(: proposed multi-family use. Old Meridian! Multi-Family (OM!MF) is proposed to allow the construction of the apartment community envisioned for the area as part of the Old Meridian Plan. . The petitioner has displayed how the previously approved area complies withJh(:\re'luirements of the Old Meridian plan as outlined in the Ordinance and Comprehensive Plan for the area.
