The applicant seeks approval to place a new suspended ground sign on the property.
The site is located at 30 S. Range Line Rd. and is zoned B -2. It is located within the Old Town Main Street Sub -Area
Filed by Steve Greenberg of Current Publishing, LLC.
Petitioner, please note the following:
1. This Item will not be on an agenda of the Technical Advisory Committee.
2. Mailed and Published Public Notice does not need to occur.
3. Proof of Notice is not needed.
4. The Filing Fee (PAID) and Eight (8) Information packets (RECEIVED) must be delivered to Plan Commission
Secretary, Ramona Hancock, no later than 12:00 PM, Wednesday, November 23, 2011. If filing fee and
materials are not delivered by this time, this application will be continued to the January 3, 2012 meeting.
5. This Item will appear on the Tuesday, December 6, 2011 agenda of the Plan Commission Special Studies
Committee at 6:00 pm in the Caucus Room, Second Floor, City Hall. Please have a representative attend to
present your request.
6. Petitioner, please address the following:
a) The Department is concerned about the stability, safety and aesthetics of the proposed 2' x 6' sign
design. In the past, Old Town sign formats are typically either a horizontal or a vertical form of 3' x 4'.
We would recommend bringing a few other design ideas to the meeting to discuss.
b) A landscape plan must also be submitted for the suspended ground sign.
