Please label the exterior building materials on the building elevations. OK 2. Please provide digital copies of the site plan and building elevations as .pdf or .jpg files. OK 3. Is there a fire place in the basement? If so, please label. No 4. Please label the hearth or fireplace on the first floor plan. Ok. 5. What will the vent or chimney for the fireplace look like coming out of the side bumpout of the house? Will show on revised elevation. It is a direct vent fireplace like all the others we have installed so it has no chimney or chase and will have a small metal vent out the side of the unit. Per our past conversations we extended the foundation to the ground so that it wasn't a canitlevered unit. 6. Left elevation please make most of these windows vertical. See ordinance chapter 23D.03.C.3.h. OK. Planning on leaving one horizontal and the rest will change to vertical. 7. Please add a window or decorative window to the left elevation, to the north wall of the Study. OK. 8. The Department suggests adding a window or vent feature to the front facade, just below the roof peak. Client was shown many different versions of front elevation with window accents or vents. They really want to use the B &B as shown and that seems to create a conflict with centering a window or vent. 9. The Department suggests adding railings or a low masonry wall to the front porch perimeter. Will ask the client again but they have stated in the past that they want the porch open. Thanks!
