Re: Westwood Estates/ ustus Landscape Buffer Agreement
Recently, an agreement was reached between Justus Homes and Andy&Rhonna Crook
for amending the plan for landscape buffering required as a condition of approval for
Westwood Estates.
The agreement will enable Justus Homes to provide the required landscape buffer
utilizing an easement located upon the Crook property.
Compliance determinations have been made by the Carmel Director of Community
Services that this agreement fully complies with the buffer requirements approved by the
Carmel Plan Commission in 2002. A copy of the full Director determinations is attached.
The reason you are receiving this information is that you are an adjoining and
affected property owner. Pursuant to the Carmel Zoning Ordinance Chapter 30.0,
these determinations may be appealed to the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals
(BZA).
Should you disagree with the determinations and wish to file an appeal to the BZA,
please contact Connie Tingley, Secretary to the BZA, or, by emailing her at
ctingley a,camlel.in.gov. Appeal requests must be filed with the BZA by February 21,
2008, or, after which, these determinations will be final.
