Dear Mr. Scimia:
At the meeting held Tuesday,January 24,20.12,the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following
action regarding the Special Use(SU)and Development Standard Variance(V)filed by you for the property located at
14350 Ditch Road.
APPROVED:Docket Nos.11120008:SUiand 11120009 V: Special Use expansion for riding stable and Variance for
curbed/paved parking area with.Commitment that no more than 45 horses will be boarded in Buildings A and D with
other buildings being used for storage,not boarding horses.
Please be advised that per Section 30:05:05: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance,the aforementioned Development
Standard Variance approval is valid for three(3)years.By that time,either continuous construction of the improvements
must be underway,or a written request:for a one-time,six-month extension of the approval must have
been received and approval granted by this Department.The expiration date of the approval is January 24,2015.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit applications.
