Dear Ms. Conn:
This letter is in response to the Review Email dated May 31, 2012 for the Benett Technology Park, Block A
project. The following are responses to each of the review comments using a corresponding numbering
system.
1. The docket numbers were added to sheet 2 of the plat.
2. Digital copies of the revised plans are attached.
3. Attached are copies of our correspondence and response letters to the other TAC members
involved in the review of this project.
4. Per a meeting with the City of Carmel Engineering Department, and conversations with the
Fire Department, it was determined that a temporary turn around would need to be installed
for the fire department. Due to this turn around, the roadway cannot be extended to the
south property line. Per the request of the Engineering Department, a note was added on
sheet C102 of the construction plans in the profile view stating that the developer will install
the remaining section of the roadway to the south property line when development occurs on
the south adjoiner.
5. A note stating that sidewalks will be installed along the east side of the frontage roadway
when Block A is developed was added to the cover sheet and sheet C102 of the construction
plans.
6. Concrete monuments were added to the exterior property corners shown on the plat.
7. The cross-reference survey has now been recorded and its recordation information was added
to sheet 2 of the plat under the Registered Land Surveyor's Certificate.
8. The zoning classification B-3/Business was added to sheet 1 of the plat and the cover sheet of
the construction plans. US 421 (Michigan Road) and its corresponding overlay were already
labeled on the sheet 1 of the plat.
9. The document was spell checked.
10. A 5-ft non-access easement was added along the east line of Block A.
11. A legend has been provided on sheet 1 of the plat and on sheet C101 of the construction plans.
12. We will coordinate with INDOT in regards to the right-of-way along US 421.
13. A location map has been added to sheet 1 of the plat.
14. Comment noted. This procedure will be followed prior to obtaining signatures for the plat.
15. The revised secondary plat is attached for your review and reference. Once we have your
approval and all comments addressed from all TAC members, signed paper and mylar copies
will be produced and sent to your department for City of Carmel's signatures.
