The location of the utility lines shown on this plan are approximate. The Contractor shall contact the Indiana Underground Plant Protection Service, Inc., 1 -800- 382 -5544, and all F- other utility companies to locate all mains, conduits, service lines, etc. in the construction — affected area. The location and protection of the existing utility structures and facilities, their Q support and maintenance during construction (in cooperation with the applicable utility) is the express responsibility of the Contractor in the performance of the Contract and in the preparation of the bid. The Contractor shall notify the Engineer of any changes, errors or omissions found on these plans or in the field before work is started or resumed. 2. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to maintain quality control throughout the project; GG failure to do so may result in removal and replacement of the defective work. 3. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to notify and coordinate all construction with the respective utility companies. The contractor shall conform to the appropriate utility company's rules, regulations, and procedures in order to obtain their approval for service. 4. The Contractor shall coordinate and confirm with the Owner that all permits and approvals F- cn are obtained from the respective private, City, County, State and other appropriate agencies w LL prior to starting construction. The Contractor shall be responsible to comply with the conditions set forth within each permit. 5. These plans were prepared without the benefit of any soil boring information. If any yielding z _ or "soft" soil conditions are encountered the contractor shall notify the Owner and the Engineer immediately. 6. Where two proposed elevations appear together on the plans the top number shall designate the top of curb the bottom number shall designate the bottom of the curb at the edge of the pavement. 7. Contractor shall control mud accumulation on all streets surrounding Project by installing a temporary stone drive at all locations where construction traffic leaves the site. Dust shall J be kept to a minimum by utilizing water sprinkling, Calcium Chloride, vegetative cover, spray on adhesives or other approved methods. Any dirt that gets on surrounding roads by LL construction traffic shall be removed by Contractor. 8. The location of the utility services shown to serve the building on this plan are approximate. Refer to the Architectural Plans for the exact locations for all utility services, meter locations and other related items into the building. 9. A sanitary sewer cleanout shown on this plan shall be located within three (3') of the outside of the building. All cleanout covers located within paved surfaces shall be heavy duty. 10. All points of connection of the proposed sanitary and storm sewers to existing structures �+r$ must be verified from an acceptable benchmark and reference point vertically and h horizontally at the earliest opportunity before constructing.
