The proposed project falls in the incorporated area and MS4 jurisdiction of the City of Carmel. 2. The proposed project DOES fall in a Carmel Wellhead Protection Zone. 3. The proposed project falls in the Taylor Trace /Cool Creek Regulated Drain Watershed. 4. Please submit an outlet permit for the direct discharge into the Taylor Trace /Cool Creek Regulated Drain. The application is available at Surveyor's Form Page. 5. Please provide information that all homes in Taylor Trace will be 2 feet above (LAG or lowest opening) the proposed 100 year elevation of the shared detention pond. 6. Based on the Taylor Trace as -built drawings, the proposed new 100 year pond elevation will surcharge the street curb inlets at the 100 year elevation and surcharge the end section for the drainage swale on the east side at the 10 year event. This should be explored to protect the homes of Taylor Trace. Maybe the pond should be expanded to lower the 100 year elevation or backflow prevention should be considered to eliminate the surcharging of the regulated drain system. 7. Does the existing pond have an adequate and proper elevation emergency overflow? 8. Please submit revised construction plans /drainage calculations after all TAC agency comments have been addressed. 9. Additional comments may be warranted at a later date. Should you have any questions, I can be reached at 317 - 776 -8495.
