SUMMARY OF PETITION
Kite Realty Group, on behalf of Corner Associates, the owner of the retail center
commonly known as "The Corner" and located at the southwest corner of 116th Street and
Westfield Boulevard, is requesting approval of the architectural design and lighting for a new
restaurant to be constructed as a part of the partial redevelopment of The Corner. The restaurant
will contain approximately 5,678 square feet and will located on the northern end of the retail
center adjacent to 116th Street and the new multi-purpose path to Central Park.
Attached are: (a) a aerial photograph of The Corner showing the location of the new
restaurant; (b) building elevations showing the proposed construction of the restaurant; and (c) a
floor plan for the new restaurant.
