The applicant seeks to plat a residential subdivision of approximately 180 lots on 127.57:1:
acres. The petitioner also seeks the following subdivision waivers:
Docket No. 04060030 SW SCO 7.02 open space requirements
Docket No. 04060031 SW SCO 6.04.01 block length
The site is located on southeast of West Rd and 141st Street. The site is zoned S-l.
Filed by Dennis Olmstead of Stoeppelwerth & Associates for Pittman Partners.
The Subdivision Committee forwards the primary plat and subdivision waivers to the full Plan
Commission with a 4-0 favorable recommendation. The Committee directed the applicant to
meet with the neighbor to the north and provide submit a commitment reflecting the
improvements they agree on providing. The Department has not received a copy of the
commitment. This should be provided to the commission at the meeting.
The Department recommends approval of this Primary Plat subject to the recording of the
written commitment regarding road improvements.
Additional Note: Written fmdings are required for action on the Primary Plat and waiver
requests. The applicant shall present these to the Commission at the meeting prior to- approval.
Background:
The applicant is proposing a 180-10t subdivision to be platted under the Residential Open Space
Ordinance (ROSa) requirements. Please see the infom1ational packet provided by the applicant
to view the layout of the lots and the areas provided as open space. This parcel is adjacent to and
north of Claybourne Subdivision. It also borders West Road and has access from 141 st Street and
Shelbome Road.
