Docket No. 04060032 PP: The Lakes at Towne Road The applicant seeks to plat a residential subdivision of approximately 54 lots on 40.39:i: acres. The site is located on southwest of Towne Rd and 136th St. The site is zoned S- 1 /Residence-Estate. Filed by Dennis Olmstead of Stoeppelwerth & Associates. The Subdivision Committee forwards the primary plat to the full Plan Commission with a 4-0 favorable recommendation. The Department recommends approval of this Primary Plat subject to the recording of the written commitment regarding road improvements. Additional Note: Written findings are required for action on the Primary Plat. The applicant shall present these to the Commission at the meeting prior to approval. Background: The applicant is proposing a 54-lot subdivision to be platted under the Residential Open Space Ordinance (ROSO) requirements. Please see the informational packet provided by the applicant to view the layout of the lots and the areas provided as open space. This parcel is the last that when developed will complete the extension of 136th Street between West Road and Towne Road (approximately two miles).
