The existing drainage can be divided into four (4) drainage basins. "Pre-I", located in the northwest comer of the site, is mostly grass and weeds and flows to the north to a rear yard swale. Storm water runoff across Basin "Pre-2", located in the northeast comer, begins as sheet flow until reaching the side yard swale, which then flows to the south. Basins "Pre-3" and "Pre-4" are located in the southern half of the site. These basins are mostly impervious pavement and the storm water runoff flows to the south to an existing fifteen (15") inch storm sewer, located along the north side of 116th Street. Once the storm water runoff enters the existing storm sewer, it then continues to flow to the south. The developed storm drainage system has been designed to flow to the south to the existing fifteen (15") inch storm sewer, located along the north side of 116th Street. This will reduce to flow of storm water runoff to the north. To account for the additional storm water runoff to the south and the additional impervious area, the storm water runoff will be routed through a six (6") inch orifice prior to being discharged into the existing storm sewer. This proposed drainage system has been modeled using the Interconnect Pond Routing Program (ICPR) for the 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 and 24 hour, 2 year, 10 year, and 100 year storm events. These storm events have been modeled using the HUFF curves for rainfall distribution. The results of the modeling showed the staging of the storm water runoff to be less than the gutter elevations for all structures and for all storm events. Secondly, the modeling results showed the release rate for the two (2) year and ten (10) year storm events to be slightly greater than the predeveloped conditions. However, during the critical 100 year storm event the developed release rate was lower than the predeveloped release rate. Wanted to let you know that the postcards for the LHC Golf Outing have been mailed. Soon to follow will be the golf flyer as outlined in the meeting on March 5th. Design will be the same as last year. Changes will be made in regard to the date of the event, Tuesday July,13th 2004,8th Annual, and the addition of an e-mail address for those filling out sponsor information. I will e-mail each of you the flyer once all the changes have been made, but before the flyer is completed I will need additional input from you, THE GOLFERS. At the last mee~ing, the committee discussed having 12:00 noon tee time with a shotgun start for a field of 33 teams. Also discussed was having additional golfers start early/finish early so additional teams could play. No decision was made about the early start for additional golfers. This is where I need your input!! Do you want additional information on the flyer for early tee times? What number of teams would start early? I am a non-golfer and I want to make sure what is on the flyer is complete and correct. The flyers are scheduled to be mailed a month after the postcards. A tentative date would be Monday, May 12th. Our next scheduled golf meeting is May 21st at 7:30AM at ReMax/Excel. The flyers should be out before the next meeting not only to get individuals committed to playing but also to work on sponsorships.
