AIR HANDLING UNIT (AHU -1) AND CONDENSING UNIT (CU-1) SHALL BE PLACED IN 4 DEACTIVATED MODE. B.) RETURN AIR FAN (RF -1) AND EXHAUST FAN (EF -1) SHALL BE PLACED IN DE- ACTIVATED MODE. C.) FAN POWERED BOXES (VAV -2, VAV -4, VAV -7, VAV -8, VAV -12) FANS SHALL BE.1� DE- ACTIVATED MODE 2.) WINTER THE OPERATOR MANUALLY PLACES THE CONTROL SYSTEM INTO WINTER OPERATION WITH THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS OCCURRING: A.) AIR HANDLING UNIT (AHU -1) FAN SPEED IS MODULATED BY VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE (VFD) TO MAINTAIN 1.0 +/- 0.1 INCH (ADJUSTABLE) STATIC PRESSURE IN SUPPLY DUCTWORK. B.) AHU -1 OUTSIDE AIR DAMPER SHALL MODULATE TO THE CLOSED POSITION. C.) RETURN AIR FAN (RF -1) FAN SPEED IS MODULATED BY VFD TO MAINTAIN SPACE PRESSURIZATION OF 0.0 +1-0.02 INCHES (ADJUSTABLE). D.) FAN POWERED BOXES (VAV -2, VAV -4, VAV -7, VAV -8, VAV -12) FANS SHALL BE ACTIVATED WITH PRIMARY AIR INLET MODULATED TO CLOSED POSITION. ALL AIR TO BE RECIRCULATED FROM SPACE SERVED. FAN POWERED BOXES THREE STAGES OF HEAT SHALL BE ACTIVATED AS NEEDED TO MAINTAIN 68'F + / -2 -F (ADJUSTABLE) SPACE TEMPERATURE. E.) VAV BOXES (VAV -1, VAV -3, VAV -5, VAV -6, VAV -9, VAV -10, VAV -11) SHALL MODULATE ALONG WITH ACTIVATION OF THREE STAGES OF HEATING AS NEEDED TO MAINTAIN 68-F/ -2 -F (ADJUSTABLE) SPACE TEMPERATURE. AT SPACE TEMPER- ATURE SETPOINT, THE VAV BOX AIR FLOW IS AT MINIMUM FLOW (ADJUSTABLE). AS SPACE TEMPERATURE DROPS, FIRST STAGE HEATER IS ACTIVATED. AS TEMPER- ATURE DROPS FURTHER BELOW SET POINT, SECOND STAGE HEATER IS ACTIVATED AND VAV BOX AIR FLOW IS INCREASED (ADJUSTABLE). AS SPACE TEMPERATURE STILL DROPS FURTHER BELOW SETPOINT, THIRD STAGE HEATER IS ACTIVATED AND VAV BOX AIR FLOW INCREASES TO DESIGN FLOW (ADJUSTABLE). 1.> SUMMER THE OPERATOR MANUALLY PLACES THE CONTROL SYSTEM INTO SUMMER OPERATION WITH THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS OCCURRING; A.) AIR HANDLING UNIT (AHU -1) FAN SPEED IS MODULATED BY VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE <VFD) TO MAINTAIN 1.0 +/ -0.1 INCH (ADJUST- ABLE) STATIC PRESSURE IN SUPPLY DUCTWORK B.) AHU -I OUTSIDE AIR DAMPER SHALL MODULATE BETWEEN MINIMUM POSITION (1,000 CFM, ADJUSTABLE) TO FULL OPEN FOR ECONOMIZER FUNCTION. OUTSIDE AIR DAMPER SHALL BE FULL OPEN BETWEEN OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE OF 55'F AND 72-F (ADJUSTABLE). FOR OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE ABOVE 72 -F (ADJUSTABLE), OUTSIDE AIR DAMPER SHALL MODULATE TO MINIMUM POSITION. FOR OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE BELOW 55 -F, OUTSIDE AIR DAMPER SHALL MODULATE TO MAINTAIN SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE OF 55 -F (ADJUSTABLE). C.) CONDENSING UNIT (CU -1) SHALL BE ACTIVATED IN FOUR 5 TON STAGES TO MAINTAIN SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE OF 55-F (ADJUSTABLE). D.) RETURN AIR FAN (RF -1) FAN SPEED IS MODULATED BY VFD TO MAINTAIN SPACE PRESSUREIZATION OF +0.03 +1-0.02 INCHES (ADJUST- ABLE) STATIC PRESSURE IN BUILDING. RELIEF DAMPER AND RETURN AIR DAMPER SHALL MODULATE WITH ECONOMIZER OUTSIDE AIR DAMPER TO MAINTAIN SPACE PRESSURIZATION E.) EXHAUST FAN (EF -1) SHALL BE ACTIVATED F.)
