EROSION CONTROL STATEMENT:
1. LOT 4, A PART OF BLOCK 12 IN CARMEL SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY PARK.
2. PROPOSED START DATE FOR CONSTRUCTION IS FALL OF 1998,
WITH COMPLETION IN THE SPRING OF 1999.
3. THE SITE CURRENTLY DRAINS FROM THE NORTHWEST BOUNDARY TO
THE SOUTHEAST TOWARDS A SWALE THEN INTO CARMEL CREEK,
WHICH IS PART OF THE FERTIG REGULATED DRAN.
4. CONSTRUCTION ACCESS POINTS AND EQUIPMENT PARKING AREAS
SHALL BE ESTABLISHED AS SHOWN ON THE PLANS AND STABILIZED
IMMEDIATELY WITH A MINIMUM OF 12. OF /2 STONE OVER FILTER
FABRIC (WHERE SPECIFIED) TO MINIMIZE MUD ACCUMULATION
ONTO ADJACENT STREETS. DUST ON THE PROJECT SHALL BE KEPT
TO A MINIMUM BY UTILIZING SPRINKLING, CALCIUM CHLORIDE,
VEGETATIVE COVER, SPRAY ON ADHESIVES OR OTHER APPROVED
METHODS.
5. LAND CLEARING AND GRADING CAN NOW COMMENCE. THE INITIAL
PHASE WILL BE TO STRIP TOPSOIL FROM THE SITE AND
STOCKPILE. ALL STOCKPILED SOIL SHALL BE SURROUNDED WITH
SILT FENCE OR OTHER SUITABLE SILTATION BARRIER TO PROTECT
SEDIMENTATION ONTO ADJACENT PROPERTY OR CONSTRUCTION
AREAS. AREAS THAT CAN BE FINAL GRADED AND SEEDED SHOULD BE
DONE SO IMMEDIATELY. AFTER FINISH GRADING ALL CONSTRUCTION
AREAS ARE TO BE SEEDED FOR EROSION CONTROL. PERMANENT
AND TEMPORARY SEEDING SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
DETAIL SPECIFICATIONS SHOWN.
6. THE STORM CONVEYANCE SYSTEM SHALL NOW BE INSTALLED.
SILTATION BARRIERS SHALL BE INSTALLED AT ALL STORM
BEEHIVE INLETS AND IN ALL DRAINAGE SWALES
AS SHOWN ON THE PLANS AND DETAILS.
7. AFTER COMPLETION OF THE CUT /FILL REQUIREMENTS OF THE
SITE, FINAL GRADING AND SEEDING SHALL BE DONE. ALL DISTURBED
AREAS SHALL BE SEEDED AND MULCHED AS SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL MEASURES SHALL BE MAINTAINED
THROUGHOUT THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE OF THIS PROJECT
MAINTENANCE • REQUIREMENTS ARE SHOWN IN THE DETAILS OF EACH
