PLUMBING NOTES=
1) PLUMBING CONTRACTOR TO VISIT SITE AND FAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH EXTENT OF WORK
AND ANTICIPATE ANY PROBLEMS. NOTIFY OWNER OF ANY PROBLEMS PRIOR TO
PROCEEDING WITH ANY ADDITINAL WORK.
2) FURNISH AND INSTALL FIXTURES AS SELECTED BY OWNER AND AS NOTED ON PLANS.
3) MATERIAL, LABOR, & INSTALLATION OF ALL PLUMBING EQUIPMENT AND ASSEMBLIES TO
BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE STATE, LOCAL, AND FEDERAL CODES,
AND IN GOOD PRACTICE USING SKILLED AND QUALIFIED WORKERS.
4) EXTEND EXISTING SERVICES TO NEW FIXTURES AS REQUIRED AND OVER HEAD WHEN
POSSIBLE.
5) EACH FIXTURE TO HAVE SHUT OFF VALUES.
6) FURNISH & INSTALL ANY NECESSARY FITTINGS ETC. TO PROVIDE A COMPLETE
PROPERLY FUNCTIONING SYSTEM.
7) PROVIDE WATER LINE PROTECTIVE PLATES OVER STUDS WHERE PIPES ARE
LOCATED TO PREVENT NAIL /SCREW PENETRATIONS.
8) COORDINATE INSTALLATION WITH ALL OTHER TRADES. COORDINATE INSTALLATION
WITH STORE OWNER AND OPERATING HOURS. STORE WILL REMAIN IN
OPERATION DURING THE EXTENT OF THE PROJECT. RESTROOM SERVICES (MINIMUM
AT BEST) WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE FUNCTIONAL EVERY DAY.
10) CONTRACTOR TO ARRANGE FOR AND PAY FOR ALL REQUIRED TESTS AND PERMITS.
11) ALL MATERIALS TO BE NEW.
12) RELOCATE AND /OR EXTEND WATER SERVICES, FIXTURE VENT, AND SANITARY DRAIN
CONNECTION AS REQUIRED.
13) PROVIDE UNDERCOUNTER PREFABRICATED INSULATION KIT FOR ALL SUPPLY AND DRAIN
PIPING FOR ALL TOILET ROOM LAVATORIES.
14) EXISTING BUILDING SEWER LINE IS LOCATED UNDER BASEMENT FLOOR SLAB IN ADJACENT
MECHANICAL ROOM. NEW DRAIN LINES FROM NEW TOILETS & BAR SHALL TIE INTO EXISTING
SEWER LINE. G.C. TO PROVIDE BACKFLOW PREVENTER VALUE ALONG NEW DRAIN LINE
PRIOR TO TIE —IN TO EXISTING PIPING. bACKFLOOW PREVENTER TO BE ACCESSIBLE
MAINTANENCE.
