NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Docket Nos. 05020030 UV, 05020031 V and 05020032 V
The Cannel Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on the 28th day of March, 2005,
at 7:00 p.m. at Cannel City Hall, 1 Civic Square, Cannel, Indiana 46032 for the purposes
of holding a public hearing on W & D Land Company's ("Petitioner") use variance and
developmental standards variance applications for the property located at 9639 N.
Haverstick Road. The Petitioner requests a variance of use of 96.01 of the Cannel
Zoning Ordinance to convert an existing single family dwelling into a general and
professional office use. The Petitioner requests a developmental standards variance of
927.03.02 of the ,Cannel Zoning Ordinance to eliminate required curbing from the
boundary of the parking area. Also, the Petitioner requests a developmental standards
variance of 926.04.01 of the Cannel Zoning Ordinance to reduce the landscape ,buffer per
the plans on file with the Cannel Department of Community Services.
The property that is the subject of the variance of use and developmental
standards variance applications is located at 9639 Haverstick Road in Clay Township,
Hamilton County, Indiana and is further described in the attached legal description. The
applications are identified as Docket Nos. 05020030 UV, 05020031 V and 05020032 V
respectively.
Interested persons desiring to present their comments either in writing or verbally
will be given the opportunity to be heard at the aforementioned time and place.
The applications and plans may be reviewed at the Cannel Department of Community
Services office located at Cannel City Hall, 1 Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032. The
hearing may be continued from time-to-timeas may be found necessary.
