Dear Mr. Carter:
At the meeting held Monday, October 22,2012, the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the
following action regarding the Special Use Amendment(SUA)and Developmental Standards Variance(V) filed by you
for the property located at 14445 Carey Road.
APPROVED:Docket Nos.12090016 SUA and 12090017 V:Special Use Amendment for Church in R-1 district and
Development Standards Variance for temporary gravel use for parking lot expansion with the Commitment that gravel for
each phase will have a one-year time limit with no more than three(3)anticipated phases.
Please be advised that per Section 30.05.05: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance,the aforementioned Development
Standard Variance approval is valid for three(3)years. By that time,either continuous construction of the improvements
must be underway,or a written request for a one-time,six-month extension of the approval must have been received and
approval granted by this Department.The expiration date of the approval is October 22,2015.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit applications.
