Recommendation: After all comments and concerns are addressed,the Dept. of Community Services recommends that the Committee forwards this item to the May 15 Plan Commission meeting with a favorable recommendation. The applicant seeks approval to add an outdoor d. ing area(while removing two parking spaces). The site is located at 9840 N.Michigan Rd.It is zoned I-1/Ind trial and located within the US 421 Overlay Zone. Filed by Jacquie Bois,owner. • The petitioner seeks approval to remove to existing par ng spaces within a parking lot to create an outdoor dining area. The outdoor dining area will be raised to meet th,9A6vel of the sidewalk by the petitioner having concrete poured, so that it is higher than the level of the asphalt parking area. Per the petitioner's counts, there will still be enough parking to meet the parking ordinance, even with the removal/of these 2 parking spaces. The outdoor area will be comprised 9•Ya low divider fence and outdoor furniture, such as chairs,tables,umbrellas, and planters. The landlord has sent ann approval email stating that he is okay with the proposed changes.
