2. The pipe must have perforations with the equivalent told opening as o cornparable

1/2 -inch holes at 2 1/4 inch. or closer spacing
5/8 -inch holes at 3 1/2 inch, or closer spacing

c. Equal separation of rolie around the ckawnference.
3. The pipe must be delivered in stroight (uncoiled) kngths
Potable Water
The pipe must have the NSF (Notional Sanitation Foundation) sed far potable water
and be rated to withstand the applied pressure.
Solvent -weld fittings are not acceptable

LIST OF ACCEPTABLE PLASTIC PIPE
NOTES
1. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL A MINIMUM OF 2000 SQUARE FEET OF TRENCH BOTTOM
AREA OR 667 LINEAL FEET OF 3 -FOOT WIDE TRENCHES.
2. TRENCHES SHALL BE SPACED 7.5 FEET ON CENTERS AND INSTALLED PARALLEL TO
EXISTING SITE CONTOURS. TRENCHES SHALL BE INSTALLED LEVEL ALONG ENTIRE LENGTH.
3. THE TRENCH BOTTOM DEPTH MAY NOT EXCEED 18 INCHES BELOW EXISTING GRADE.
4. THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED ABSORPTION FIELD MUST BE PROTECTED FROM
COMPACTING, GRADING AND FILLING PRIOR TO SYSTEM INSTALLATION OR THE
SITE MAY BE RENDERED USELESS,
5. SEPTIC TANKS AND ABSORPTION FIELDS MAY BE CONSTRUCTED NO CLOSER THAN
5 FEET TO A PROPERTY LINE, OR CLOSER THAN 10 FEET TO A DWELLING OR OTHER
STRUCTURE. MAINTAIN A 50' SEPARATION FROM ANY PRIVATE WATER SUPPLY WELL
6. ALL OPENINGS AND SURFACES OF THE SEPTIC TANK SHALL BE SEALED TO PREVENT
GROUNDWATER LEAKAGE INTO THE SYSTEM.
7. THE 2" FORCE MAIN FROM THE DOSING TANK CONNECTING THE PUMP TO THE
DISTRIBUTION BOX SHALL BE ADEQUATELY BAFFLED OR AN ELBOW INSTALLED
IN THE DISTRIBUTION BOX TO PREVENT DIRECT DISCHARGE TO ANY OUTLETS WHICH
WOULD OVERLOAD INDIVIDUAL TRENCHES. UNPERFORATED 4" PIPING SHALL BE
INSTALLED FROM THE BOXES TO EACH TRENCH, AT WHICH POINT CONVENTIONAL
4' PERFORATED PIPING SHALL BE INSTALLED.
8. DOSING PUMP SHALL BE HYDROMATIC MODEL OSP33 OR EQUAL. PUMP SHALL
DELIVER 48 GPM 0 12 FT TDH.
9. NO TRAFFIC SHALL BE PERMITTED ON THE PROPOSED SEPTIC ABSORPTION FIELD
AREA.
10. ADDITIONAL SOIL COVER TO BE PLACED ABOVE EXISTING GRADE AFTER CONSTRUCTION
TO PROVIDE A MINIMUM OF 15" OF SOIL ABOVE THE FILTER FABRIC FOR FREEZE
PROTECTION.
11. CONSTRUCTION OF SEPTIC SYSTEM SHALL BE CONDUCTED ONLY WHEN SOILS ARE DRY.
12. ONLY TOPSOIL, NOT CLAY MATERIAL, SHALL BE PLACED OVER THE ABSORPTION
FIELD.
13. FINISH GRADE TO OBTANV POSITIVE SURFACE DROAGE AWAY FROM FIELD.
14. FOLLOWING INSTALLATION, BUT PRIOR TO BACKFL1ING OF SEPTIC FIELD
TRENCHES, HAMILTON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT SHALL BE NOTITD FOR
INSPECTION.
16. ALL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY ON THIS SITE SHALL BE PERFORMED IN COWUANCE
WITH APPLICABLE O.S.H.A. STANDARDS FOR WORKER SAFETY.
17. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO FIELD VERFY ALL
EXISTING UTILITIES AND CONDITIONS PERTANNING TO FNS PHASE OF WORK. THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTY IN WRITING THE OWNER OR THE ENGWR OF ANY
CHANGES, OMISSIONS, OR ERRORS FOUND ON THESE PLANS OR IN FIELD BEFORE
WORK IS STARTED OR RESUMED.
