The applicant seeks site plan & design approvals for a.partial redevelopment of the site The site is located at 1.342-1430 S. Range Line Road. It is zoned B-3/Business, within the Carmel Dr. Range Line,Rd. Overlay Zone. Filed by Paul Reis of KriegDevault;;for Kite Realty Co. For.PartB,,,theapplicant seeks approval for the buildingarchitecture, colors,and,materials, for the drug store building that is proposed for the,southeast corner,,of the site, right at the intersection of 116`h Street and Range Line Road, (Signage is not part of this review, and will be submitted at a later date for review/approval.) The petitioner has tabled this item for several months now, so that.,they'could work with the Department of Community Services to come up with an acceptable design,that their client would also accept. The main building materials are brick veneer; masonry veneer, glass, and_EIFS cornice. Some of the glass is spandrel (opaque), with most of it being clear vision glass. The,Department would love it if the petitioner was also able to.include.a main store entry right at the intersection ofh16`h Street'and Range Line Road, but it does not seem feasible for the petitioner's client. Sept. 4 Committee meeting recap: At the Sept. 4 Special.Studies Committee meeting, the petition received.avote of 4-0, for a favorable recommendation to the full Plan Commission. Recommendation: The Dept. of Community Services recommends that the Commission votes to approve this item. - 4 -
