This is a request to amend the ADLS approval granted in April 2004, in Case 04010026
DP/ADLS, for the property at 11411 Michigan Road. In the course ofperfonning construction
work to transfonn the property from a residence to a real estate office, the petitioner discovered
that the existing chimney was deteriorating to the extent that it must be removed. In addition, the'
petitioner discovered moisture problems due to the existing roof pitch in the walls of the front
room. The petitioner desires to remove the chimney, and replace it with a donner above the
existing front room. The donner is architecturally consistent with the existing gables and
dormers of the structure, and retains its residential feel. In addition, the petitioner desires to
replace the existing front room windows and to replace a portion of white siding on the front
room with a brick front, utilizing the same brick as the Plan Commission approved for the
ground sign in 04010026 DP/ADLS thetefor providing architectural consistency with the sign
that now exists.
