Explanation
The Riverview Medical Park is located at the Southeast comer of 146th Street and Hazel
Dell Parkway in Carmel. The Riverview Medical Park PUD Ordinance, Ordinance Number 'Z-
410-03, approved on August 4, 2003, sets forth the underlying zoning and development
standards for the Riverview Medical Park (hereafter "PUD Ordinance"). The Applicant,
Riverview Hospital, is the tenant for the two (2) buildings which are to be located on parcell of
the Riverview Medical Park Complex. Building A is located on the northern portion of the site
and contains the ImmediatelPrimary Care Center (hereafter "Building A"), and Building B is
located on the southern portion of the site and contains the Medical HealthlRehab Center and
Office Building (hereafter "Building B").
In order to improve the internal functionality of both Building A and Building B,
Riverview is requesting amended ADLS approval for slight changes to the elevations for
Building A and. Building B. The following exhibits depict the request:
Exhibit 3 - Building A Elevations. The first rendering is of the elevation which
was approved by the Plan Commission and Special Studies Committee. The
second elevation is a revised building elevation incorporating slight changes
desired by Riverview.
Exhibit 4 - Building B Elevations. The first rendering is of the elevation which
was approved by the Plan Commission and Special Studies Committee. The
second elevation is a revised building elevation incorporating slight changes
desired by Riverview.
Exhibit 5 - Description of Changes. This exhibit describes the changes to Building A
and Building B.
Riverview is not seeking any variances or waivers from the approved PUD Ordinance.
Instead, it desires to make slight revisions to the approved building elevations to improve the
functionality of each building. The proposed changes are consistent and compatible with the
elevations which were previously approved. We look forward to presenting this amended ADLS
application to the Special Studies Committee at its August 3, 2004 meeting.
