1. Docket No. 12050014 DP/ADLS: Olive Garden Restaurant.
Petitioner seeks preliminary feedback about proposed architecture for a new Olive Garden Restaurant at
10206 N. Michigan Rd.,within the US 421/Michigan Rd. Corridor Overlay Zone. (The Planning/Zoning
Dept. will then relay comments back to the petitioner.)
The petitioner seeks preliminary feedback from the Plan Commission members about proposed architecture for a
new Olive Garden Restaurant building. Please view the petitioner's info packet for more detail.
The Department's main concern is that the proposed architectural-style is Tuscan(their typical prototype);
however, the US 42,1 Overlay Zone architectural design requirements only permits architectural elements from
Italianate, Greek Revival,Federal, and Georgian periods of American architecture. The petitioner will have to
show the Commission how their design pulls architectural eleriments from Italianate, Greek Revival, Federal,
and Georgian styles.
There is also some concern about the design,not having a defined base/foundation,middle, and cornice/roof, and
some of the proposed building/roof materials(such as clay tile roof material): The US 421 Overlay Zone zoning

This item will be back before the Commission on July 17, for the offic ial public hearing.

2. TABU FD TO JULY 17 — Docket No. 12020024 ADLS: Meridian and Main, Parcel 1, Building 1.
The applicant seeks design approval for a medical building on the northern half of this parcel. The site is
located "at the northeast corner of 13 -St. & Pennsylvania Way, at 1440 W. Main St. It is zoned B
