Signage allowed for 2355 E 116th St-former Longhorn Steakhouse (to be a McAlister's Deli) Hello, I wanted to let you know that we have been working on a Sign Ordinance update and it should be approved at next Tuesday's Plan Commission meeting.This will affect your wall sign signage allotments. It will change to a percentage based allotment, instead of per our sign size chart. You will now be allowed up to 70%of the height of the spandrel panel/sign band area and 85%of the width. Based on your current proposal, it looks like you will not make the height requirement.There are two things you could do to avoid needing a variance from the BZA. The first is to reduce the size of your proposed sign to meet the height requirement.The second is to adjust the size of the sign band area. Please let us know what you would like to do or if you have any questions.
