CONDITIONS TO PER_MIT
Must follow Traffic Control Standards as set out in the Hamilton County Permit
Manual for County Roads.
Repair any damage to the roadway due to construction traffic.
Reseed mid grade side ditch so that a positive water flow is maintained.
Must not cause an unreasonable safety hazard due to sight distance, fixed hazards,
dmnage to roads, other problems and must not restrict traffic flow

cables and utility lines shall be located Any variances shall
be requested in writing, and have explicit written approval by the County Engineer. This
reqmrement is needed to allow for the installation of signs, guardrail and the maintenance and
reestablishment of roadside ditches. If the permittee does not install his cables or lines at this depth,
he shall waive all rights to damages incurred to his lines or cables made by the Hamilton County
Highway Department or its contractors during its routine maintenance activities and the installation
of guardrail at hazardous locations.
All Permits: Any permittee or permittee's contractor who cuts an underground drain tile whether it
.a ._-ear_~ abandoned or not shall notify the Hamilton County Highway Department Permit Inspector
immediately upon cutting the tile. The permittee shall then repair the tile as directed by the
inspector. Must not cause an unreasonable safety hazard due to stght distance, fixed bazards,
dmnage to roads, other problems and does not restrict traffic flow.
All cables and utility lines shall be located a minimum of 48" below tile flow-line of any culvert.
The. Highway Department may request this depth be increased according to replacement or
mmntenance plans.
The Highway Department requires that all lines be placed by open trench or directional
bore, Plowin will not be allowed.
Tile Highway Department requires that permitee install all improvements as approved b~ this
plan.
