NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF
AN AMENDMENT TO THE CARMEL/CLAY
ZONING MAP
Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the City of Carmel and Clay Township, Hamilton County,
Indiana, that the proper legal officers of the City of Carmel met at their regular meeting place, Council Chambers,
Carmel City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032, at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, the 20th day of December, 2004,
and adopted the following:
Ordinance No. Z-462-04, rezoning Tax Parcel I.D. Nos. 16-09-25-02-03-021.000, 16-09-25-02-03-
020.000, and 16-09-25~02-03~0 17.000 (commonly known as Monon and. Main), generally located at the
northwest and northeast comers of 3rd Avenue NW & Main Street from the B-1/Business and B-3/Business
Zoning Classifications within the Old Town Character Sub-area to the PUD/Planned Unit Development
Classification.
Ordinance No. Z-462-04 affects only the aforementioned Tax Parcels.
Ordinance No. Z-462~04 does not amend any provision of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance regarding
penalties or forfeiture prescribed for a violation of the ordinance.

Division of Planning & Zoning, Third Floor, Carmel City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana; and in the
Office of the Clerk-Treasurer, Third Floor, Carmel City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana.

The Carmel Plan Commission Qffers you ,the following report on th~ application (Docket No. 04070035 Z)
of, Eden Land Company, Inc. 'petitioning the Commission for a favorable recommendation to rezone a
property located atthe 'northwest and northeast comers of 3rdAvenue NW & Main Street from the B-
I/Business and B-3/Business Zoning Classifications within the Old Town Character Sub-area to the
PUD/Planned Unit Development Classification.
The Carmel Plan Coml11ission'srecommendation on the petition of the applicant is "FAVORABLE."
At its regularly, scheduled ,meeting on October 19, 2004, the Carmel, Plan Commission voted nine (9) in
Favor, zero (0) Opposed, zero (0) Abstaining, to forward to the Common Council the proposed Ordinance
No. Z-462-04 with a Favorable Recommendation.
Please be advised that by virtue..6fthe Plan Commission's Favorable 'Recommendation, pursuant to IC 36-7-
4-608(f)(4), the Council :has ninety (90) days to act on this petition before it becomes effective as Certified
by,' the Commission. Ninety days from the date of this Certification (October, 22, 2004) is Thursday,
Janu,ary 20, 2005.
