SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR HMC MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
Annual Membership Fee
This is your annual dues to belong to IIMC. It allows you to continue to receive the many services
provided by your association and to use your CMC or MMC designation. Dues are billed annually in the
quarter immediately following your anniversary and are due upon receipt. PLEASE PROTECT your IIMC
membership and remit your dues right away. Failure to pay your dues will result in loss of membership
privileges. All dues must be paid prior to registration for the annual conference and are not tax deductible
in the United States. Members in other countries should check the local tax laws. A late fee will be added
to your dues if not paid by the date shown on the renewal.
Continuing Education Support

While,this amount is a voluntary contribution,we ask you to please consider making your personal
contribution to the Municipal Clerks Education Foundation(MCEF). This amount is tax deductible in the
United States and Canada if paid by the member. Currently only 37%of our members make an annual
donation to MCEF. We encourage you to join these colleagues who believe that investing in Clerks
education is a worthwhile endeavor. If you choose to include the Continuing Education Support with your
membership dues,be assured that your donation will go directly into the Foundation's fund. This fund's
interest revenue comes back to IIMC to help pay the cost of its education programs. Currently,that amount
is growing through the voluntary contributions,and by including the amount with your dues,the fund will
grow,generate more interest and allow IIMC to direct more of those funds back to our members in the form
of scholarships to attend state Institutes,IIMC Annual and State/Provincial Conferences and to complete
post secondary education. If you are not doing so already,we strongly urge you to include the Continuing
Education Support along with your annual dues.
We encourage you to consider making an additional contribution to MCEF. As with the Continuing
Education Support,any contribution to MCEF is tax deductible in the USA and Canada if made by you
personally. MCEF has many giving levels and we encourage you to join the other 3,000 members who
