GIVIL GENERAL SITE NOTES:
I. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL 51TE INFORMATION, AND REPORT
ALL DISCREPANCIES TO THE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO THE START OF
CON5TRUCTION.
2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE THE FOUNDATION AND LOCATION
DIMENSIONS 5URVEYED PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH CONSTRUCTION.
3. THE CONTRAGTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING ALL STEPS
NECESSARY TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC AND ADJACENT PROPERTY FROM
DAMAGE DUE TO G0N5TRUGTION. ANY DAMAGE OUTSIDE OF REASONABLE
CONSTRUCTION BOUNDARIE5 SHALL BE REPAIRED TO THE
5AT15FAGTION OF THE DAMAGED ITEMS' OWNER AT NO C05T TO THE
OWNER OF THI5 PROJECT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REPAIR ALL
PAVEMENT DAMAGED DUE TO UTILITY INSTALLATION, CONSTRUCTION
OF GURB5, WALK, ISLANDS, DRIVES, OR ROADS ETC., AS REQUIRED DURING
CONSTRUCTION WITH SECTIONS, MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP
APPROVED BY THE OWNER. DAMAGED GROUND SHALL BE SODDED WITH A
SOD THAT 15 PRE- APPROVED BY THE OWNER.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR APPLYIN6 FOR, PAYING
FOR, AND COMPLYING WITH ALL PERMITS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE
THI5 PROJECT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL AL50 BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
ALL FEES LEVIED BY GOVERNMENT ENTITIE5/UTILITIES/ETC. FOR
PERMITS, INSPECTION, RE- LOGATION5, REVIEWS, ETC.
5. THE CONTRACTOR 5HALL BE RE5PON5113LF FOR THE ADJUSTMENT OF
EXISTING GROUND ELEVATIONS TO MATCH PLANS ELEVATIONS.
6. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY SHORING, BRACING,
NETTING, ETC. AS RECOMMENDED BY 0.5.H.A. FOR THE SAFE
PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK, INCLUDING DESIGNATED DEMOLITION.
-7. THE GONTRAGTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL MATERIALS DESIGNATED AS
DEMOLITION FROM THE 51TE.
8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE OWNER AND
ARCHITECT AS TO THE INTENDED PLORP05E AND LOCATION OF ALL
SALVAGED MATERIALS, AND REMOVE/HAUL/5TORE THESE MATERIALS AS
NECESSARY. MATERIALS THAT ARE DESIGNATED AS 5ALVAGE WHICH
ARE DAMAGED BY THE CONTRACTOR'S NE&LIGENGE OR LACK OF
JOB5ITE SECURITY SHALL BE REPLACED BY THE CONTRACTOR.
q. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FINISH GRADE AND SEED ALL AREAS
DISTURBED BY CONSTRUCTION UNLESS SODDING 15 DESIGNATED IN
THE 51TE PLAN. IF 5ODD I NG 15 NOT SPECIFICALLY SHOWN, 50D ALL
DISTURBED AREAS WITHIN 15' OF THE BUILDING.
10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TRAFFIC CONTROL WHEN NECESSARY TO
THE 5AT15FACTION OF THE GOVERNMENT AGENCY INVOLVED FOR ANY WORK
IN THE RIGHT OF WAY, INCLUDING ANY STREET WORK OR TRAFFIC
INTERRUPTION.
II. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL PHYSICAL ELEMENTS, WHETHER
INDICATED OR NOT, WHICH INTERFERE WITH THE PROPER
CONSTRUCTION OF THI5 FACILITY.
12. MATERIALS, WORKMANSHIP, AND CONSTRUCTION OF ALL UTILITIES
RELATED TO THE 51TE SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENT5 OF
THE LOCAL UTILITY COMPANIES. ALL ABANDONED UTILITIES ON THI5
SITE, WHETHER INDICATED OR NOT, SHALL BE THE RESPON51BILITY
OF THE CONTRACTOR TO TERMINATE TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE
UTILITY COMPANY INVOLVED, AT NO ADDITIONAL CAST TO EITHER
THE UTILITY OWNER, OR THI5 PROJECT OWNER. ALL NEW UTILITIES
FOR THI5 SITE SHALL BE LOCATED UNDERGROUND.
